Peachy payday loans are new on the scene, although it is difficult to pinpoint just when they began trading. Peachy is a London-based short term lender devised by Cash On Go Ltd. They are classed as a text loan lender, since they have this function built in within their site. One of the most impressive features of Peachy payday loans is in the flexibility that they provide. You can choose the specific loan term between 5 and 31 days and you can even choose the number of payments, although this becomes a little complicated to examine with their payday loan calculator being buggy when I last checked (the loan breakdown for example displays an extra day than what is chosen on the calculator). From digging around I did find out that the interest is charged at 1% per day and from studying one of their article pages I noticed that an additional £5 would cater the fast transfer fee.

From digging around I did find out that the interest is charged at 1% per day and from studying one of their article pages I noticed that an additional £5 would cater the fast transfer fee.

This means that a £100 7 day loan would cost £12 in overall charges that is a little more expensive than similar text lenders. These loans range between £50 and £500 (£200 for new customers). Account management and SSL encryption is provided. No faxing is required and extensions are available when 1 payment period is selected. Peachy loans are coined as being faxless no credit check text loans. Although no faxing may be required you can clearly see within their responsible lending section that a credit search is conducted. It states that you can apply by their mobile app and that there are no hidden charges. Despite this, this isn’t really free since it states that an activation text message will cost your standard network rate. It also states that they are only able to process some applications during business hours. Despite these minor issues, Peachy certainly looks like an interesting new text loan lender that should be praised for their impressive flexibility.

Charges for a £100 Loan (7 day term example):
Charges: £7/£100 interest + £5 transfer fee = £12/£100

IDosh currently lend between £100 and £1000 with new customers being granted a maximum loan of £400. It states that these are flexible loans in that the loan terms can range between 8 days and 37 days, but as I am aware the customer can not choose the loan term with the specific term being set for when the customer is next paid. A £100 loan would cost 30% in interest charges with there also being a £5.50 transfer fee. It states that this transfer fee is optional, but this charge would in fact be forced since BACS payments can no longer be made due to the new legal requirement in place. One thing that is strange is that the £5.50 transfer fee will not be added to the overall charges, but will in fact be deducted from the loan sum and so for a £100 loan you would be paid £94.50.

IDosh are members of the BCCA trade association, they provide account management and all applications are SSL secure. Loan extensions are available and they state that faxing is only required on rare occasions and so I would consider these loans to be faxless. IDosh aren’t really instant payday loans since an employer would be required to be contacted, which seems strange considering that credit checks are made. This new payday lender IDosh does provide a quality loan service and the branding and design of their site looks impressive. It is just a shame that the underwriting will unfortunately slow down the time in which loans can be transferred. IDosh are new on the scene at this time and so there aren’t many reviews circulating to help paint a picture of how well they are being perceived by their past customers.

This posting will address payday loans in 15 mins (payday loans in 15 minutes). There was a time when such speedy loans would not be possible at such a fast rate. There has of course always been CHAPS payments that guarantee same day payments, but these payments need to be put through by the bank before a specific time (when they are open) and CHAPS payments are expensive. Payday loans in 15 mins are possible by the Faster Payments Service that transfers cash within minutes, up to a few hours. The advantage here is that these transfers are automatically made at any time around the clock. The Faster Payments Service has become the standard payment method in the UK today. This is due to a 2012 legal requirement for electronic payments to reach the recipient’s account by the business day after being sent at the latest.

This puts an end to the slow BACS payments that usually took 3 working days to clear. With the Faster Payments Service being used by each lender this means that no such lender is faster in essence. Payday loans in 15 mins are headlined by Wonga, whilst QuickQuid headline payday loans in 10 minutes. Each of these use the Faster Payments Service though and so no such transfer should be faster. These payments could be slowed down by any such lender requiring faxing or underwriting before funds can be sent. Who the customer banks with may also have an effect on the speed of the transfer. From my own experiences with this payment system, the loans have usually appeared in between 1 and 2 hours time. Payday loans in 15 minutes are possible across the market, but using a top payday lender like QuickQuid or Wonga is recommended since there will be no faxing or underwriting to slow down this loan process.

BongaLoans, MobileQuid and Quid24 for example each offer very set £100 loans only that are taken over the specific period of 7 days. Providers of payday text loans will offer account management where the loan can be fully managed. Once you are a customer with any such text loan lender you will be able to text a loan by requesting the loan by text message that will automatically transfer the funds. One little issue with some text loan lenders is that they tend to charge fees for any text messages sent (TxtLoan do not); to avoid any such fees you can always apply for the loan from a desktop/laptop via your account. The main benefit in using payday text loans is the efficiency and speed involved in the text loan process. The charges are usually low for shorter periods as well, with the 7 day text loan lenders usually charging 10% including the speedy transfer fee. Finally, each text lender should be commended for providing account management and SSL encryption.

The Loan Store (The Loan Store Limited) will be introduced today who is a Scottish payday loan lender that has been operating since 2003. This would be an unknown lender in the UK if it wasn’t for Cash Generator who forward all of their payday loan applications to them. Their rival Cash Converters also offer financial services, but when you apply for a payday loan online they will advise you to head into a local store. The Cash Generator loans as noted direct to The Loan Store, although you can apply via one of their stores (documentation will be required).

The Loan Store actually has a good setup. Account management is provided, all applications are fully SSL secure and they are trade association members of the BCCA. The loan amounts range between £50 and £500 (£1000 return) with there being £29 interest per £100. They still list BACS data on the page, but I found a reference to a Faster Payment Service transfer fee being £5 and there is a CHAPS option for £12. It does look like faxing is required and there would likely be delays for underwriting with these loans. The Loan Store payday loans do look impressive and so it understandable that all Cash Generator payday loans would direct to them. Although this lender has some good qualities, I would prefer to use an instant payday lender that doesn’t require faxing, also without the need of any underwriting.

Charges for a £100 Loan:
Charges: £29/£100 interest + £5 transfer fee = £34/£100
Charges: £29/£100 + £12 transfer fee = £41/£100 (second transfer option)

This high quality payday loan product that is advertised a great deal both online and offline has helped them to develop a very popular payday loan brand. This means that there is a great deal of searches conducted for them online. QuickQuid operates via QuickQuid.co.uk (www.quickquid.co.uk). This posting is addressing QuickQuid.com (www.quickquid.com) that they don’t use primarily, but they still own that domain. Visitors would usually go through the co.uk URL. As noted, QuickQuid currently ranks in the top spot for monthly payday loan lenders and so they come highly recommended here. If you would like to apply for a loan with them then be sure to check out the QuickQuid Promo Code if you are a new customer to them.
The main brand term “Wonga” for example is searched for more times each day than “Payday Loans” is. To address the query of this post, Wonga currently operates on the Wonga.com domain (www.wonga.com). If you were to type the Wonga.co.uk URL into the address bar of your browser then this would automatically forward you to Wonga.com (they would have purchased this secondary domain a good while ago). If you are new to Wonga and are looking to make some savings on your loan then you may be interested in their current promo.

Wonga began lending in late 2007 and within just a few years they have quickly emerged as they stand today as being the biggest payday loan lender in the UK. The innovation with Wonga came from them creating a short term loan solution over the traditional monthly payday loan term. Borrower's could now choose themselves the loan duration term to the exact day and as well as this could choose the exact loan amount to the £1. With a fantastic service and a great offline ad campaign, Wonga is clearly doing all of the right things, but have any other lenders took lessons and devised a loan product similar to Wonga?

Payday Loans Like Wonga

Wonga began lending in late 2007 and within just a few years they have quickly emerged as they stand today as being the biggest payday loan lender in the UK. The innovation with Wonga came from them creating a short term loan solution over the traditional monthly payday loan term. Borrower’s could now choose themselves the loan duration term to the exact day and as well as this could choose the exact loan amount to the £1. With a fantastic service and a great offline ad campaign, Wonga is clearly doing all of the right things, but have any other lenders took lessons and devised a loan product similar to Wonga? Yes, there are various payday loans like Wonga now available. All are instant payday loans like Wonga in 2012 now that the Faster Payments Service has become the standard payment system in the UK (a service that Wonga got to fast).

SafeLoans offers the same flexible terms whereby you can choose the exact date, although they don’t offer the same flexibility with choosing the loan amounts (their loans start at £50). Cash Access also allow their customers to choose the loan term (between 10 and 32 days), but again there isn’t flexibility in the loan amounts that start at £75. The Lending Well also offer term flexibility between 10 and 31 days, but their loan amounts start quite high at £100. MiniCredit follows with between 1 and 30 days, as with The Lending Well starting with £100 loans. All of these lenders have been noted from their positions as short term lenders with the comparison noted at the top of the page. One monthly payday lender worth mentioning is Mr Lender who allow anyone to choose the loan amounts starting from £10, to £20 etc (heading up in increments of £10).

New lenders are appearing all of the time that are allowing their customers greater flexibility in choosing their loan duration, but as you can see no one has really stepped up to offer the same flexibility as Wonga in regards to choosing the loan amounts. The advantage with choosing the exact loan amount like Wonga is that you can for example borrow let’s say £25 or £37 just for a few days. That’s all you may need, with there being much larger fees attached with lenders who only offer a minimum loan of £100. It is also worth noting that applying for small loans with Wonga will increase the chance of them saying yes since there is less risk involved in such a small loan. Most text loan lenders will also start with £100 minimum loans, but the charges are usually quite competitive with these lenders. You will pay just a 10% charge for example with the likes of BongaLoans.

There is a small number of payday loan lenders in between the endless stream of payday loan brokers online. It is often difficult to differentiate a payday broker and lender, but it is always recommended to make sure that you do opt for a direct lender for a variety of reasons as touched upon in this post. Using payday lenders not brokers will allow you to deal directly with the company that will be hopefully sending the cash your way. This speed isn't slowed down too much when you use a broker, since they simply tend to quickly feed your application on to a variety of partnered lenders (there may be a delay with some brokers). The biggest problem here is that they are sending your application on to multiple lenders and so multiple credit checks will be taken, which means that using payday loan lenders not brokers will be better for your credit rating.

This speed isn’t slowed down too much when you use a broker, since they simply tend to quickly feed your application on to a variety of partnered lenders (there may be a delay with some brokers). The biggest problem here is that they are sending your application on to multiple lenders and so multiple credit checks will be taken, which means that using payday loan lenders not brokers will be better for your credit rating.

Many payday loan brokers don’t run applications with SSL encryption and since these companies aren’t for example members of payday loan trade associations this means that your personal details will have a higher chance of being passed around to other loan companies. They will also forward you on to the lender that they are partnered with, which isn’t ideal since it makes much better sense to compare payday lenders yourself to choose the company that you feel that you would most like to take out a loan with. Using payday lenders not brokers may also save you some fees that some brokers are known to charge. By all means, there are some lenders that are also sneaky with hidden fees, but from studying the lenders before applying you should become fully aware of all such charges that will be required. The main comparison post featured at the top of this page has been made to help guide each potential borrower to the ins and outs of each and every popular lender operating in the UK today.

The headline of "First peer-to-peer payday lender launches" caught my attention and so I quickly headed to the site to find out some more about them. The Lending Well (The Lending Well Ltd) use a concept known commonly as P2P lending, or peer-2-peer lending or person-to-person lending. The first company to use this concept in the UK was Zopa who launched in 2005. Zopa loans cover large sums of cash and as I believe are designed for borrowers with a good credit rating. The Lending Well is the first payday loan peer-to-peer lender and bad credit is welcomed. The idea behind this concept is that the lender would be made up of a pool of people that will put up the cash (each person will earn a 12% return). The actual payday loan product from The Lending Well looks impressive.

I read through an article on the Guardian earlier today that introduced The Lending Well. The headline of “First peer-to-peer payday lender launches” caught my attention and so I quickly headed to the site to find out some more about them.
Loans range from £100 to £750 and the loan terms are flexible and so you can choose the exact loan term between 10 and 31 days. Interest is charged at 1% per day and so for a £100 loan you would pay £7 for 7 days and £30 for 30 days. You must add on a £6 Faster Payments Service fee, whilst it states that otherwise a BACS payment will be provided. This confuses me since these types of payments are no longer allowed for electronic payments (I have emailed them regarding this and will update later). Account management is provided and SSL encryption is always used on each application. Rather than faxing, they note that an employer will need to be contacted if they feel that the application needs verifying. I assume that this would be the case when a credit check fails, but if it is passed then no contact should be required. I could see no reference to loan rollovers and they display a Consumer Credit Trade Association (CCTA) badge, but it doesn’t state that they are members. You can expect to hear much more this innovative lender in the near future. One thing to note is that the charges paid are likely to fluctuate over time (hopefully be for the better). It will be interesting to keep track of their developments.

Charges for a £100 Loan (7 day term example):
Charges: £7/£100 interest + £6 transfer fee = £13/£100
