Payday Loan Lenders: Uncle Buck

Payday Loan Lenders: Uncle Buck

Uncle Buck (or UncleBuck) has been operating for a good while now, but there was always some confusion whether they were a broker or a lender. The confusion lies from an application being directed to other lenders being Payday Express and WageDayAdvance without any notice (this will have accounted multiple credit checks). So research is now being carried out on their lending process. Anyway, it was also unknown whether Uncle Buck loans carry out credit checks, but they in fact do! I did spot a few past reviews on the web where there was mention of the hassle to get documents across to them, but they are now promoting that these are indeed faxless loans. As for being a same day payday loan lender, there is a £15 charge for the same day loan payment.

There is no account management available for customers. The site does look to have had a fresh design though, with that generous sea of green. New customers can receive a loan between the range of £75 and £400, whilst existing customers can receive an impressive £1000 and the ability to rollover loans is there if required. The interest charge is set at the standard 30%, but do remember that this doesn’t include a same day payment that will require a £15 additional fee (no free BACS payments are allowed for electronic payments of course). Uncle Buck loans were recently featured in the Money Supermarket payday loans section, but they seem to have been removed at this time. As noted, loans from Uncle Buck are currently being researched again and an update will hopefully follow here soon.

Charges for a £100 Loan:
Charges: £30/£100 + £15 transfer fee = £45/£100
